Located in Mableton, Georgia, the Golden Residence wooded backyard was cleared and prepared for the installation of a 120’ x 60’ tennis court and 5’ stone fire pit. Because of the steep grade of the backyard, two 10 foot concrete walls were installed to level out the 40 foot vertical elevation change from the existing pool deck to the bottom of the lower wall. A mulched walking trail was installed to connect the tennis court to the 5 foot stone lower fire pit supported by a 60 foot long boulder wall. A concrete golf cart path was also installed which leads from the upper level pool deck to the private tennis court below. Drainage for the entire residence was installed which ultimately leads to a dry stream bed along the property line decorated with tan river rock. Two stone gas lantern columns mark the entrance down the 5 foot wide stone tread staircase. The existing concrete pool deck was demoed and a new irregular cut flagstone pool deck was installed with plumbed irrigation lines for the clients vibrant flower pots around the pool deck. Lastly, a custom stone kitchen was constructed, featuring an Alfresco gas rotisserie grill, warming drawer, cooling drawer, refrigerator, side burner and Green Egg.
